CPA Robert Magemeso

CPA Robert Magemeso serves as the Institute Bursar at UNITE and is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and resource management.

He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Full Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU). He holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting), both from Nkumba University.

CPA Magemeso is a seasoned public finance management professional with close to 30 years of experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, and public administration.

Prior to joining UNITE, he served as University Bursar at Soroti University, where he made significant contributions to financial management systems and institutional administration as a member of Top Management.

He also served in various leadership positions within Local Government Administration, rising to the level of Principal Commercial Officer and Acting Head of Finance.

His extensive expertise in public sector financial management continues to support efficient financial stewardship and accountability at UNITE.
