Office of the Institute Librarian

The Office of the Institute Librarian manages UNITE’s library and information services across all campuses. The Institute Librarian is responsible for developing and maintaining library collections — including print, digital, and electronic resources — that support the Institute’s academic programmes, research agenda, and Continuous Professional Development activities. The office promotes information literacy, manages subscriptions to academic databases and journals, and supports faculty and students in accessing quality research materials. It oversees the organisation, cataloguing, and preservation of library resources, and ensures that library facilities and services meet the standards expected of a degree-awarding institution. The office is committed to building a learning environment that fosters intellectual inquiry, independent study, and a culture of reading among students and staff.
